Tutor: Alan Irvine

An informal, informative and tutored class for students of all levels of experience and abilities that will explore & enhance your understanding of the human form.

During the session, the student will come to learn & appreciate the
principles of:
o Anatomy
o Composition
o The importance and effect of light and shade
o How to render clothing on the body
o The use of different media

Please bring lunch. Kitchen facilities are available.

Date: Tuesday 18th February – 10am to 3pm

Venue: Mettingham Village Hall, Rectory Lane, NR35 1TJ

Cost: £45 (please bring with you the medium of your choice plus a range of pencils within the 2B to 9B range)

About the tutor:
Alan has been a professional artist and commercial illustrator for over 40 years with experience across all mediums, working for publishers, magazines and design agencies. He has taught life drawing and illustration at art colleges and privately since 1984 and continues to work on commissions that range
